YES! From the moment the Skystream is first powered on, it will provide you with Clean, Green, Free energy! The money you save on your electrical bill will slowly pay you back for the unit itself (typically in the 5 to 8 year range), and anything it produces after that is 100% free to you.

Can I Be More Involved?
Certainly! With Skystream, you need only the included USB wireless tranceiver to view a wide range of information requarding your generators power output, rotational speed, and more! Simply connect the small interface to your home PC or laptop, and realtime information is only a click away!
Will I Need To Maintain It?
Absolutely not! The Skystream is a totally self contained unit, with no control box, no maintenance needs, and no setup. After the initial installation, you just need to sit back and watch it work, preferably while drinking an ice cold glass of lemonade!
The onboard computer determines wind speed, power demands, and everything else required for normal and emergency operations, leaving you, the end user, completely out of the loop. This means no errors, and no worries.
Is It Safe?
Safety is the number one concern when building, and purchasing any wind generator. The Skystream constantly checks your home power for correct voltage and frequency, and upon detection of a problem, immediately shuts down and monitors until everything is OK, then resumes.
Under extreme wind conditions (70+ mph winds for example), the unit automatically shuts down and firmly holds the blades in place to weather the storm. This guarantees safety in the most unsafe conditions for a wind generator. When the winds settle down again, the blades unlock and resume normal operation.
What About Catastrophe?
In the even of a catastrophic failure (tornado, physical damage to blades, uncorrectable power problems, alien abduction, etc) the Skystream has several emergency backups that can shut down the system and hold it in a state that it is most likely to survive. In the event of catastrophic failure, the system just needs to be opened and physically reset after being checked for any damage, and normal operation can resume.
You must know the answers to the difficult questions now, rather than later. Some wind systems have none of these failure protection systems, and will literally destroy themselves in extreme winds or other disasters. The Skystream was designed from day one to be the safest, and most reliable wind generator to date.
